Conference Registration


Registration for the AgrowKnowledge 2008 Conference "Case Study: Agriculture" will include membership in the future AgrowKnowledge Resource Center, some meals, valuable curriculum, teaching materials and resources, a conference proceedings CD and many opportunities to network with other agriculture educators from around the country.

Registration Types

Student Registration - This option is for students wishing to attend the conference. Although specific programming is not tailored to student, AgrowKnowledge feels that there could be useful information for students in programs such as agriculture education and similar disciplines. We offer a discounted rate for students, but this rate does not cover the cost membership. Read more about it here.

General Registration - This option is for anyone interested in becoming part of AgrowKnowledge and participating in future AgrowKnowledge activities. Educators, staff, business and industry are all welcome and encouraged to sign up for standard registration. Membership in AgrowKnowledge is included in the registration price.

Conference Scholarships

A limited number of Conference Scholarships will be available to participants attending the conference. Scholarships awards may be used towards the costs attending and participating at the conference. Scholarships will be awarded to participants based on qualifications, past participation in AgrowKnowledge and financial need.

Hotel

Hotel accommodations for this year's conference will be provided by the Clarion Hotel in Cedar Rapids IA. AgrowKnowledge has obtained a discounted rate of $71.00 dollars per night good 5/27 through 5/29. Call before May 1st to reserve your room at this discounted rate. Make sure to notify the person you are speaking to that this is for the AgrowKnowledge conference.

Conference Cancellations

Conference cancellations must be made in writing (email acceptable) no later than May 2nd, 2008 for a refund. A deduction of $50.00 ($70 if registered for both workshop and pre-conference workshop) from registration costs will be made on all cancellations made after March 1st. Individuals are responsible for contacting the Clarion for hotel cancellations. AgrowKnowledge accepts substitutions for participants unable to attend the conference. Please notify AgrowKnowledge if you wish to have someone attend in your place.
